Q: Do you provide custom design and manufacturing services?

A: For over five decades Dixon Jewellers has led the Ottawa market in the manufacturing and design of fine jewellery. We have added CAD design and 3D printing, making the possibilities infinite.

Q: Do you offer personal consultations?

A: Private appointments with our designers or gemologists may be arranged in advance by contacting our store during regular business hours.

Q: Do you offer an in-house appraisal service?

A: As a full-service jeweller, Dixon provides in-house appraisals conducted by Certified Gemologists. 

Q: Is your complete product selection available for viewing online?

A: Dixon maintains a vast in-store selection of a wide variety of jewellery. The sheer size of our collection prevents us from posting all items on-line. Consequently, the only way to see everything we offer is to visit the store.

Q: Do you assist with insurance claims?

A: We can help in replacing virtually any item covered by your insurance. We will work with your insurance company to ensure that you receive a proper replacement for any lost or stolen items.

Q: Do you do repairs to antique pieces and/or unusual jewellery items?


Q: I Want to purchase a ring from the online store but there is no sizing option - can I request it in a different size?


Q: Can I use my gift certificate in the online store?


Q: Why are some items in the online store marked 'Web Only' and what does it mean?

A: Our expert in-house repair department is capable of repairing the most complex and intricate pieces or re-manufacturing them into new works of art. Just bring in the item requiring the attention and we'll tale care of the rest!


A: Do to the designs of certain rings, the sizing options may be limited. If there is a ring that you are interested in that is not in your size, please feel free to contact us with the size that you need and we will happily see what can be done.


A: Unfortunately not for now. If you find an item in our online store while browsing, please let us know and we would be happy to make arrangements to set the piece aside for you.


A: 'Web Only' refers to a selection of pieces from our Estate Collection that are not on display in our brick and mortar store. Do to the limited amount of physical store space we have available to us, we have chosen to only display certain items online. The being said, if you see a 'Web Only' item online but would like to inspect it in person before buying, simply tell us in-store and we would be happy to bring it out for you to see.
